What is Lymphocyte-to-Monocyte Ratio (LMR)?
A calculated ratio comparing two white-blood-cell types - lymphocytes and monocytes - as a general marker of immune balance.
This is a calculated value from a routine complete blood count (CBC): it divides your lymphocyte count by your monocyte count. A lower LMR can be associated with more systemic inflammation and, in research, less favorable outcomes, a higher LMR can be associated with a more balanced immune state.
