I'm healthy — is it even for me?
The value of a record shows up at the moment you suddenly need it: a new symptom, a new doctor, a form to fill in. At that moment it either already exists or it doesn't, and building it backwards from memory is far harder than keeping it as you go.
My country already has a health portal — why do I need this?
National portals differ a lot: some give you good access to what happened inside their own system, others are mainly administrative. What none of them is, is a record you keep once you step outside that system — a private clinic, another country, an insurer that wants its own paperwork. Longetic is the copy that stays yours across all of them.
Do I have to type everything in by hand?
No. Take a photo or upload a PDF and Longetic reads it and organises it for you. Manual entry is what turns a health record into a chore, so the whole thing is built around not needing it.
What can I upload?
Blood and lab results, doctor visit notes, diagnoses, medications and reports — as a PDF or as a photo, including a photo of a printout. If a document is in a layout or language Longetic cannot read, it stays in your record as a file, so nothing is lost.
What happens when I see a new doctor or move to another country?
Your history belongs to you and moves with you, so you are not starting from scratch in a new clinic or a new country. Those are the situations Longetic is built for: a first appointment with someone who has never seen you, an insurance form, a move abroad.
What does my doctor get?
A short, readable summary of your history that you can show or hand over — the timeline, the medications you have recorded, recent results and what changed — instead of a stack of PDFs and half-remembered dates. You decide what to share and when; nothing is sent to anyone automatically.
Can Longetic tell me what's wrong with me?
No, and it is not built to. Longetic organises your record and puts it in plain language so you can follow it and ask better questions. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, does not tell you what to do about a result, and does not replace a consultation. If something in your record concerns you, that is a conversation with a clinician.
Who can see my health data?
By default, only you. Longetic does not sell health data, does not share it with advertising or analytics platforms, and does not use it for targeted advertising. Service providers that help run the product process data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes. The full picture — what is processed, on what basis, and for how long — is in the Privacy Policy.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes. You can request a copy of your record, export it, or have it deleted. Deleting your account deletes the record, apart from anything we are required to keep for a limited period by law.
What does it cost?
Longetic is a paid subscription, bought inside the app through the App Store. Where a trial applies, the terms and the price for the period you choose are shown on the payment screen before you confirm, and the subscription renews until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your Apple account settings.
Which devices does it support?
iOS. What you upload is kept in your account rather than only on the phone, so changing devices does not cost you your history.
